The term “The Lost Corner Ltd” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is: 13 Princeton Court, 53-55 Felsham Road, Putney, London, United Kingdom, SW15 1AZ.

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. The website contains material which is owned or licenced to us, or to our featured suppliers. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. Linking of this website to other sites is not permitted without authorization from The Lost Corner. Tampering with or misuse of this website is strictly prohibited.
Pictures on this website are for guidance only. In some cases, colours can change slightly when viewed over different mediums.
We reserve the right to change all details including prices and specific product details without notice.

You also agree to indemnify the Directors and employees of The Lost Corner from any third party liability, claims, damages, costs arising from use of this Website or breach of the Terms of Service.
Making an Order:
We are pleased that you are considering making an order via The Lost Corner’s e-commerce site.
We rely on all data that is input into the order process to be accurate and true. We cannot be responsible for incorrect data being input into the system by our customers. To process your order, we require the following information: name, full postage address, e mail address, telephone number, debit or credit card number, expiry date and Card Verification Value code (the 3 digit security code on the back of your card, and slightly different for American Express). Please see the Privacy section for further information on how we protect your data. We ask for your telephone number in case we need to contact you about your order including delivery. In rare cases, we may share the telephone number with the delivery firm in order to facilitate delivery. Inaccurately input data may lead to orders being cancelled or delayed. We reserve the right to cancel orders if inaccurate data is input.
We make best efforts to keep inventory levels updated. In certain situations, the chosen item may no longer be in stock. In such cases, we will advise of amended delivery times or arrange a refund.
VAT is added to relevant items for all orders to customers in The UK and European Union. For orders outside the European Union VAT is not added. The Lost Corner is not responsible for any tariffs or taxes that may be added by the country of destination. Please ensure that you are aware of any additional taxes or tariffs that may be added.
The Lost Corner works with family businesses and master craftsmen. Many of our products are handmade. In some cases, this can result in a small difference to dimensions or descriptions listed on the website. It should also be noted that colours can vary slightly when viewed on our website versus the actual item, as colours can look slightly different when viewed over different technical mediums.
Within the delivery section we have specified the countries we deliver to, delivery methods and the time to deliver. The Lost Corner will make every effort to deliver to the agreed time schedule. We note that in some cases this may not be possible due to unforeseen issues, including but not limited to: incremental weather, strikes or disturbances.
Our intention is to deliver to as many countries as possible. If your country of choice is currently not set up we would encourage you to e mail The Lost Corner at firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred item/s and delivery address. We will then respond with a price including delivery cost and time to deliver. Our delivery firms price international deliveries by using a combination of weight and size dimensions.
A large selection of our products are handmade. In certain cases we may not have the inventory to deal with large orders. In these situations, we would ask our customers to contact us directly and we can look into making a specific order with our craftsmen.
We currently accept the following payment methods: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express.
Postage & Delivery
We package and deliver orders between Monday and Friday (excluding bank or public holidays). Postage times quoted are the time taken to deliver your item/s by our delivery firms and does not include additional time required to prepare your order.
Postage times in the UK range from 2 to 4 days, with additional time required for items being sent to the Scottish Highlands / Islands, and remote areas.
Postage times for countries in the EU range from 3 to 6 days. All other Countries on a case by case basis.
Countries currently not listed within our delivery options can be quoted / invoiced separately on receipt of e mail to email@example.com.
It is not possible for The Lost Corner to be responsible for any tariffs or taxes that may be added by the country of destination. Please ensure that you are aware of any additional taxes or tariffs that may be added, including any tariff or tax changes that could result from BREXIT.
United Kingdom: an order size of up to and including £55: £4
United Kingdom: an order size of £56 and greater: £6.50
Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey, Northern Ireland: £12.00
Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Republic of Ireland: £15
Denmark, France, Italy, Monaco, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland: £20
Norway, Sweden, Switzerland: £25
All other countries quoted separately.
Returns & Exchanges
At The Lost Corner, it is very important to us that you receive your item in excellent condition. Should your item be damaged, we would ask you to return this to: The Lost Corner Ltd, 77 Church Road, London, SW13 9HH, United Kingdom. The item should be returned as you received it, with the original packaging, documentation and most importantly unused. As part of this, we would ask you to complete the ‘return document’ highlighting the reason/s for returning. We would recommend using a proof of delivery on packages being returned. We cannot be responsible for return items that go missing or are damaged in the post. On receipt, we can either replace the item or refund the cost of the item including your return delivery cost. For the return delivery price (customer to The Lost Corner), we will use the lowest price quoted to us by our delivery firms. Returns should be made within 14 days of receipt of the item.
Our return policy for items where you have changed your mind are as follows. Returns should be made within 14 days of receiving the order, and returned to: The Lost Corner Ltd, 77 Church Road, London, SW13 9HH, United Kingdom. Items should be returned with the completed return form and documents, as you received them, unused and in their original packaging. The Lost Corner will not be responsible for the return delivery cost. We would recommend using a proof of delivery on packages being returned. We cannot be responsible for return items that go missing or are damaged in the post. On receipt, we will offer a refund or exchange. The refund will not include the cost of returning the item to The Lost Corner, and the customer will be required to pay postage from The Lost Corner to their address if an exchange is preferred. In some situations, the exchange item may cost more than the original item. In this case, an additional payment will be added to the return delivery cost before the item can be delivered.
In both scenarios, we reserve the right to reduce, partly or completely, any refund if the item is not returned to The Lost Corner in the condition we sent it- including but not limited to, unused, item in original packaging and documentation. Please ensure items returned by post are well packaged and prepared. From a hygiene standpoint, we cannot refund or exchange our soaps if the plastic seal has been broken on the box.
Bespoke items that have been individually prepared for our customers can only be returned if they are damaged, and cannot be returned or exchanged should you change your mind.
Presents can be exchanged under the guidelines laid out in our return policy, but not refunded as refunds can only be made to the buyers debit or credit card.
